On August 1, 2006, Yichang CSG Polysilicon Co., LTD was founded.

On October 22, 2006, foundation stone laying ceremony was held for 1,500 MTA High Purity Polysilicon Project.

On November 20, 2008, 1,500MTA Polysilicon Project was completed and put into commissioning.

On December 30, 2008, Yichang CSG’s first batch of high purity polysilicon was successfully manufactured, and became the first domestic full closed-loop manufacturer.

On August 17, 2009, opening ceremony for the Phase-Ⅰ Silicon Wafer Project,with total investment of 695million RMB.

On January 8, 2010, the Phase-ⅠPolysilicon Project was reviewed and accepted by the provincial Safety Supervision Bureau and the provincail Environmental Protection Bureau.

On February 26, 2010, China Quality Association issued a third party’s certification certificate on quality, environment and occupational health safety management system.

On April 10, 2010, the production line of 2,400 MTA Fumed Silica was completed and put into operation, take the company’s capacity to 3,400 tons per year.

In April, 2010, as a result of having produced polysilicon 123 tons this month, the company achieve the design capacity of 1,500 tons per year.

On May 14, 2010, polysilicon product was inspected by the Special Material Quality Supervision and Testing Center of the Ministry of Information Industry, and has reached electronic level-II in the national standard. Till now, this is the top quality level of the polysilicon product tested by the national testing authorities.

On June 6, 2010, the Silicon Wafer Phase-I Project was put into production, which marked that the complete industry chain, covering solar energy poly-silicon, silicon wafer, battery piece and assembly and solar energy glass of CSG, have been comprehensively completed.

On September 1, 2010，Yichang CSG was certified as “the Provincial Technology Center in Hubei Province”.

On December 18, 2010, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Second Phase of Polysilicon Project. was held.

On March 30, 2011, the first technical innovation for polysilicon was completed, the productivity was improved from 1,500 to 2,500 tons.

On April 18, 2012, Yichang CSG was certified as “the High-tech Enterprise in Hubei Province”.

On May 23, 2012, the groundbreaking for 6,000 MTA Polysilicon Upgrade and Technical Innovation project was held.

On August 3, 2013,Yichang CSG was certified as “Silicon Material Engineering Technology Research Center in Hubei Province”

On August 26, 2013, the new 36 pairs of silicon rods CVD Reactor produces first batch of polysilicon rod successfully.

On August 26, 2013, Yichang CSG was certified as “Engineering Laboratory in Hubei Province”
On December 16, 2013, 6,000 MTA Polysilicon Upgrade and Technical Innovation Project was completed and put into commissioning.

In January, 2014, 1,000 MTA Electronic Grade Polysilicon Project and 300MW Silicon Wafer Project were launched at the same time.

In June, 2014, the task of trial production of 6,000 MTA Polysilicon Technical Innovation Project was completed, signified it entered the stage of commercial operation formally.

In July, 2014, the monthly production of polysilicon was up to 512 tons and passed its previous peak; More than 90% of the products achieved solar grade level Ⅰ, part of them could reach electronic grade. Cost of production was lowered to 100,000 RMB per ton, production process and technology achieve domestic and international advanced level.
